We endeavour to maintain correct information for goods advertised on our website at all times. Specifications of goods are provided by the manufacturer and are subject to change without notice. Specifications of goods may change when sold at a reduced price. No contract is made with the consumer until the goods have been despatched. Title of goods do not pass to the consumer until payment is received in full.

Goods are priced in GBP (Pounds Sterling). VAT is charged where applicable and at the prevailing rate. Our VAT Registration is GB 676 2564 05. Prices are shown including VAT on our website. The VAT amount is calculated during the checkout process and shown before the order is completed.

We are only able to despatch items for delivery to clearly and correctly described addresses in the United Kingdom. Whilst every effort will be made to despatch items on time no liability can be accepted by us for failure to deliver within the advertised times. We do not accept liability for any delay in performing, or any failure in performing, any of our obligations in relation to the goods, where the delay or failure was due to any cause beyond our reasonable control. 

When you have received the goods you have a right to cancel your order as set out in the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 which came into force on 13th June 2014.

The legislation states you need to look after the goods as follows:

(34.9) If the value of the goods is diminished by any amount as a result of handling of the goods by the consumer beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods, the trader may recover that amount from the consumer, up to the contract price. 

(34.12) For the purposes of paragraph 34.9 handling is beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods if, in particular, it goes beyond the sort of handling that might reasonably be allowed in a shop.

Your right to cancel gives you 14 days to notify us that you wish to cancel, taken from the date the goods are received. Then, without undue delay, you have 14 days to return the goods to us. You are responsible for the cost of returning the goods. If you do not meet these conditions you will lose your right to cancel. We have 14 days to reimburse you for the cost of the goods and the cheapest postage option that was offered to you.

Our goods are quality checked prior to despatch. If you believe they are faulty please contact us as soon as possible. It is possible they are not actually faulty and we can guide you to resolve the issue. It may be that all you need is a replacement spare part. We can also advise you on temporary workarounds.

Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 your short-term right to reject the quality of goods ends 30 days after receiving them. However if you contact us more than 30 days after receiving the goods, and no later than 6 months, we may offer a repair or replacement at our own expense. You may be required to send your product back to us or you can agree to a final-right to a price reduction.

In addition to your statutory rights we are happy to offer a full refund excluding delivery for the return of your Optivizor within 30 days in as-new condition, with no modifications and nothing trimmed off or damaged.

We do not mind the occasional nose smudge or dog hair but if no effort has been made to return goods in a clean condition or they are scratched or damaged we are unlikely to accept your return. It is your responsibility to take care of them.

If your goods do not arrive when expected or are delayed please contact us as soon as possible. We may be able to submit a claim to the delivery service if you contact us promptly. The short time available depends on their terms and conditions and usually has conditions such as how many days it has been since it was sent to you.

Before sending anything back to us please contact us for our returns procedure. We are unable to provide a refund for unauthorised returns. If your package is rejected or returned to us by a delivery service we may deduct the cost of delivery and our expenses from your refund.

We will not be liable or for any indirect, special or consequential losses or damages, whether for loss of profit or otherwise, costs, expenses or other claims for compensation whatsoever, whether caused by the negligence by us, our employees, agents or otherwise, which arise out of or in connection with the supply of the goods or their use or resale by the consumer. Your statutory rights are not affected. Errors and Omissions Excepted.

The following cancellation policy is based on the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 which came into force on 13th June 2014, using their model instructions from Section 3. Right to cancel

You have the right to cancel this contract within 14 days without giving any reason.

The cancellation period will expire after 14 days from the day on which you acquire, or a third party other than the carrier and indicated by you acquires, physical possession of the goods.

To exercise the right to cancel, you must inform us (Name: Optivizor.co.uk; Address: 3 Cricketfield, Newick, East Sussex BN8 4LL; Telephone: 01825 723943; Email: sales@optivizor.co.uk) of your decision to cancel this contract by a clear statement (e.g. a letter sent by post or email).

To meet the cancellation deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right to cancel before the cancellation period has expired.

Effects of cancellation

If you cancel this contract, we will reimburse to you all payments received from you, including the costs of delivery (except for the supplementary costs arising if you choose a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us).

We may make a deduction from the reimbursement for loss in value of any goods supplied, if the loss is the result of unnecessary handling by you.

We will make the reimbursement without undue delay and not later than 14 days after the day we receive back from you any goods supplied.

We will make the reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise.

In any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of the reimbursement.

We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back or you have supplied evidence of having sent back the goods, whichever is the earliest.

You shall send back the goods or hand them over to us without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which you communicate your cancellation from this contract to us. The deadline is met if you send back the goods before the period of 14 days has expired.

You will have to bear the direct cost of returning the goods.

You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from the handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.
