Normal Nose Optivizor, Light Tint
The Normal Nose style of Optivizor is available in seven sizes and is suitable for breeds such as Jack Russell, Spaniel, Labrador, German Shepherd and Newfies.
All styles come with UV protection. The light tint is our most popular style, suitable for general protection. It can help to protect sensitive eyes that are recovering from a medical condition or veterinary treatment.
Whilst wearing the Optivizor your dog will still be able to eat, drink and sniff normally. Their ears stay on the outside and they can move their head to respond to what they see and hear when they are being walked.
Each Optivizor has a unique design that is supported by a headrest that creates a cushioned space between the dog’s face and the surface of the visor, allowing air to circulate inside, and deflection of dust and sand particles from oncoming winds.
Optivizors can also be worn preventively by dogs that just seem to love jumping into brambles and by blind dogs to protect their face from bumps and scrapes and improve their self-confidence.
Benefits of The Optivizor

How to Measure
Please see our size guide for full details and typical sizes for your breed.
Head Length (normal and long nose) measure from the the tip of the dog’s nose to the mid-point of the back of the ears. Measure in a straight line and do not follow the contours of the dog’s face.
Weight (normal nose) check the current weight of your dog. Your vet will usually have a record of this. To weigh small dogs using bathroom scales you can carry them for a first measurement, put them down and measure your own weight, and then deduct one reading from the other.
Circumference (short nose) measure the head circumference around the dog’s head from the middle of the ears, down under the chin and back up to the ears.
